To hire a zombie, tap the big zombie button at the bottom of the screen — you will spend the amount of gold shown there and receive a capsule with a new zombie. If the button is gray, it means you either don’t have enough gold to hire a new zombie or you’ve reached the zombie limit for the current mine.
